I like what one commenter on the story called it. A “binkyprompter.”

When it comes to matters of faith, people like Halperin and Matthews have a distinct lack of sophistication and skill. They don't understand it, so if Obama can say "God" without stuttering, he spoke with sophistication and skill.
Besides, they would have said that had he stood up there and blown his nose. He did it with sophistication and skill no Republican can match.

It's not very hard to capture the attention of your audience when you are addressing a tragedy, since much of it is emotional projection. Once those emotions wither, so does the glorification. He might have gotten a bump in his ratings, which isn't at all unusual in circumstances like this, but since the election is still nearly two years away, it's likely be meaningless when you factor it in to the general election.
All this article really demonstrates is that Liberals think too highly of themselves. But let 'em. It'll be their undoing.

I must be missing something.
They say Obama is good looking, huh?
They say his Wife is a fashion icon, huh?
They know nothing about his past and act like he is the one they have been waiting for, huh?
I could go on and on. His gaffes, his lies, his ego, his complete lack of substance and his love for anything that is unconstitutional.
To quote Sarah Palin, “WTF”?

Thus, the reason that Time was sold recently for $1.00!! That was Newsweek which sold for a buck.
The current owners of Time are running a Super Bowl Red Tag Special and asking $99.95.

OK, if he does have this sophistication and skill, why is he using it on the wrong things? Why is he screwing up so many things?

Halperin also said that Democrats would maintain control of Congress in the 2010 elections due to 0bama’s sophistication and the popularity of his healthcare reform.
Which is to say, the day that Halperin gets *anything* correct will be the day to start sniffing glue.
