UN 'concerned' by world population growth trends
BBC ^ | February 3, 2011 | Camille Ebden

The world population growth rate must slow down significantly to avoid reaching unsustainable levels, says a new UN report.

To have a reasonable chance of stabilising world population, fertility must drop to below "replacement level".

It must then be maintained at that level for an extended period, says the report.

This replacement level is the fertility level at which a population replaces itself from one generation to the next.

The world population is already poised to reach 7 billion later this year and this figure potentially could double to 14 billion by 2100 if action is not taken.

>

"Even countries with intermediate fertility need to reduce it to replacement level or below if they wish to avert continuous population increases to unsustainable levels."

The sky is falling? Again? Mixing metaphors here, has the UN read “The Boy Who Cried Wolf?” This stuff is so very tedious.

In other words, China’s one-child policy isn’t draconian enough.

Anyone remember that dystopian movie “Z.P.G. Zero Population Growth”?
That’s what these clowns are hinting at.

Progressives want only half a billion on the whole planet, and they want the survivors to be only them.

Death cult.

I am “concerned” about the ever-growing number of people who are in any way affiliated with the malignant UN.

Preach it to Africa, Mexico, China, et al. First-world countries already have declining birth rates, but population control is like pollution to the UN: a problem that needs to be addressed by the countries with the most wealth to redistribute, rather than by the countires that actually create the problem to begin with.

Yeah, I grew up with a father who wholeheartedly believed in the message of The Population Bomb. Sorry, UN, it was ignorant then and is just as ignorant now.

Progressives Satanists want only half a billion on the whole planet

under their thumb, in misery and despair.

Satan hates the crowning creation that God loves so much.

Gen 1:28
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

Any time the UN starts talking about the dire need to decrease fertility rates the hair on the back of my neck stands up. These people are not just scary, they’re evil.

Why is it that these people continue to clamor for population control, but it is only good for everybody else and not them. If there is such a crisis, maybe they should save the world by jumping off the Hearst cliff!

We are going to go extinct because there are too many of us.

Really? Let’s think about that for a second.
