Herman Cain and Jim DeMint are at least as conservative as Sarah is (and likely even more conservative), and will be able to bring out the conservative vote just as well as she could do

I can’t remember either DeMint or Cain ever getting huge crowds at their events. Don’t fall for these polls. The campaign hasn’t even started yet and people are begging off Sarah Palin because the media has trashed her for two years. Whoever we nominate will be trashed and who knows what lurks in their closets? Palin’s closet has been thoroughly examined, her garbage too. They found nothing. Palin is picking up steam based on her recent Facebook numbers climbing and the votes she’s getting in online popularity contests. People are learning that the media take on Palin is BS. Since Palin has already won the votes needed to get her the nomination, due to her success in all she has done since leaving office, the only hope the dems have is to convince her not to run. Hence, the polls.

Let’s give our democratic process a chance to work. If she is the best candidate, she will prevail, get the nomination and beat Obama.

Exactly. Duncan Hunter was a good conservative, too, and he barely registered at the polls.

Too many people on the right still don’t realize how special Palin is, though I think they will once she gets rolling in a campaign.
