ElBaradei’s Ultimatum to Mubarak: 48 Hours to Leave the Country

Egyptian uprising idol Mohammed ElBaradei has ordered Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to leave the country by Friday – or he will be a “dead man walking” and not just a lame-duck president.

The aging Egyptian leader, reportedly suffering from cancer, insists he will remain in power. He said Tuesday night, “This dear country is my country ... and I will die on its land."

Mubarak dramatically announced he will not run in September’s presidential elections, but shortly afterwards, U.S. President Barack Obama dealt him a stinging slap, stating that a transition to a new government should begin “now.”

In addition, he sent a senior diplomat to meet with ElBaradei.

Massive rallies in Cairo in Alexandria on Tuesday were held without the police brutality that killed anywhere between 70 and 300 deaths, depending on which estimate is believed, in previous days. Following Mubarak’s speech, ElBaradei said that a huge protest on Friday, the Muslim day of rest, will be “the Friday of departure” for Mubarak.

This certainly says a lot for having this Islamist militant in charge of looking for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq for the feckless UN. And it certainly raises suspicions about Obama’s meddling in the affairs of Egypt. I think Angela Merkel should tell our clueless president not to run for re-election. What’s fair for the goose....

Is there ANY doubt that Obama and El Baradei are/have been
working to give power and nuclear arms to
Iran, Hamas, and the Moslem (Nazi) Brotherhood?

[answer: Not any more.]

Ain't that the truth! That's like having Obama count the votes for the 2010 election.

The Arabs CANNOT GOVERN themselves, so this will wind up like Africa where the dictator takes all the land to give it to their supporters, the poor, and then the poor doesn’t have a clue what to do with it....STARVATION and CHAOS.

WHAT IS GOING ON IN EGYPT TODAY AND WHAT MUSLIM HISTORY CAN TELL US ABOUT EGYPT IN THE COMING MONTHS.

Islam since the begging UNTIL TODAY never been a democracy. Islam is about submission and expansion.

In it’s first hundreds of years until the 11th century it was ruled by 3 dynasties. From 623 Ad to 732 Islam came all the way to Tour France ( The gates of Paris)
It was ruled by force expanded by force all the way to Europe , Africa and way east to China and Indonesia.
This kind of ruling continued during the Ottoman empire.
Even during the 20 th century all of the Arab countries are ruled by strong man either kings or life time presidents.
Even recent revolutions like Nasser’s “ The free officers revolution in July 23 1952 , when king Farouk was toppled , just produced another strong man and no democracy.

Another example of a failed revolt in Syria known as the Hama massacre occurred in February 1982, when the Syrian army bombarded the town of Hama in order to quell a revolt by the Muslim Brotherhood. An estimated 17,000 to 40,000 people were killed, including about 1,000 soldiers, and large parts of the old city were destroyed. The attack has been described as possibly being “the single deadliest act by any Arab government against its own people in the modern Middle East”. This revolt has failed and Assad continued his brutal rule in Syria continuing today by his son.

Today who is behind what is going on in Egypt are the same Muslim brothers. They may not be the once who started the recent wave, but they certainly joined in in full force. They ‘re the once who will benefit. They are well organized and they enjoy now what was started by the young Egyptians who are just looking for freedom and justice. This will not prevail. Egypt will be turned into another Iran.

What are the MB ( Muslim Brotherhood ) Goals ?
For example, Shariah: The Threat to America provides several key insights that must be borne in mind in the current circumstances especially:
“The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in Egypt in 1928. Its express purpose was two-fold: (1) to implement shariah worldwide, and (2) to re-establish the global Islamic State (caliphate).

“Therefore, Al Qaeda and the MB have the same objectives. They differ only in the timing and tactics involved in realizing them.

“The Brotherhood’s creed is: ‘God is our objective; the Koran is our law; the Prophet is our leader; jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations.’”

It is evident from the Creed, and from the Brotherhood’s history (and current activities)…that violence is an inherent part of the MB’s tactics. The MB is the root of the majority of Islamic terrorist groups in the world today.

The Muslim Brotherhood is the ‘vanguard’ or tip-of-the-spear of the current Islamic Movement in the world. While there are other transnational organizations that share the MB’s goals (if not its tactics) – including al Qaeda, which was born out of the Brotherhood – the Ikhwan is by far the strongest and most organized. The Muslim Brotherhood is now active in over 80 countries around the world.
Of particular concern must be the purpose of the Brotherhood in the United States and other nations of the Free World:
“…The Ikhwan’s mission in the West is sedition in the furtherance of shariah’s supremacist agenda, not peaceful assimilation and co-existence with non-Muslim populations.”

“The Ikhwan believes that its purposes in the West are, for the moment, better advanced by the use of non-violent, stealthy techniques. In that connection, the Muslim Brotherhood seeks to establish relations with, influence and, wherever possible, penetrate: government circles in executive and legislative branches at the federal, state and local levels; the law enforcement community; intelligence agencies; the military; penal institutions; the media; think tanks and policy groups; academic institutions; non-Muslim religious communities; and other elites.

“The Brothers engage in all of these activities and more for one reason: to subvert the targeted communities in furtherance of the MB’s primary objective – the triumph of shariah.”
In short, the Muslim Brotherhood – whether it is operating in Egypt, elsewhere in the world or here – is our enemy. Vital U.S. interests will be at risk if it succeeds in supplanting the present regime in Cairo, taking control in the process not only of the Arab world’s most populous nation but its vast, American-supplied arsenal. It is no less reckless to allow the Brotherhood’s operatives to enjoy continued access to and influence over our perceptions of their true purposes, and the policies adopted pursuant thereto.

Yes we want to see freedom and democracy all over the world, but what is going on in Egypt right now will take us the opposite way.
The young Egyptians are carrying the Extreme Islam way in. A future revolt against the Extreme Islam will be crashed just

The MB and their puppet want a confrontation with the military.

Until there are dead in the streets and injurded children for the media, MB will not be satisfied.

Let us hope the military reacts swiftly and as brutally as possible.

Obama is now openly working to topple the Egyptian government and turn the country over to the terrorists with ElBaradei as their front man. If Obama had been one tenth as active during the peoples’ revolt in Iran, we would not be dealing with Ahmadinejad now.

El Baradei appears to be an Islamist, but that's no surprise. Most Egyptians are as a recent PEW poll indicated they want Sharia Law imposed.

As I have been saying for a long time on this forum, there are very few “moderate” Muslims and any “orthodox” Muslim MUST, by definition, support Sharia and the use of force against “unbelievers” who refuse to convert.

Long ago we should have shut the borders of America and other non-Muslim nations to immigrants practicing this hateful political culture masquerading as a religion.

In the long run, we will either move to do so now, shut all the mosques in the west, and deport all practicing Muslims here, OR become another Islamic backwater OR be forced to fight another Civil War to preserve this country and its Constitution from these vile, violent, brutal, ignorant interlopers in our midst.

Three UNAVOIDABLE alternatives here.

About elBaradei and Iraqi WMD, the oil for food program, and over a decade of UN corruption there, he should be in prison, not leading a revolution in Egypt.

Yep. The problem in Iran was that protesters wanted REAL democracy. Obama supports the protesters in Egypt because they are a stepping stone to Islamic domination, not democracy.

Once Ahmadinejad comes to understand that Obama is the Mahdi (so Obama and Louis Farrakhan believe) who will establish the World Caliphate, he will change his attitude toward Obama.

Interesting observation, kmr. The Copts in my Orthodox parish think he is a great improvement over Mubarak and are very excited at the prospect of him heading up a new government. I hardly think they would be rejoicing over what may be the imminent ascension to power of a man dedicated to the establishment, no, better said, the actual implimentation, of Sharia law in Egypt (It’s already the “principal source” of all legislation there according to the constitution).
