I think I read this was a pre-planned trip. It does seem in the middle of an international crisis she could postpone- but I guess a couple of hours on the ground down there won’t alter the course of history.

Oh, okay... I didn't know it was pre-planned; MAYBE they just want to get it out of the way, BEFORE the huge explosion in the Middle East is heard all around the world...

In other words, I do not believe that current conditions will radically subside anytime soon.
