A joint statement by Prime Minister David Cameron, President Nicolas Sarkozy and Chancellor Angela Merkel on the situation in Egypt.
Read the statement
We are deeply concerned about the events that we are witnessing in Egypt. We recognise the moderating role President Mubarak has played over many years in the Middle East. We now urge him to show the same moderation in addressing the current situation in Egypt.
We call on President Mubarak to avoid at all costs the use of violence against unarmed civilians, and on the demonstrators to exercise their rights peacefully.
It is essential that the further political, economic and social reforms President Mubarak has promised are implemented fully and quickly and meet the aspirations of the Egyptian people.
There must be full respect for human rights and democratic freedoms, including freedom of expression and communication, including use of telephones and the internet, and the right of peaceful assembly.
The Egyptian people have legitimate grievances and a longing for a just and better future. We urge President Mubarak to embark on a process of transformation which should be reflected in a broad-based government and in free and fair elections.

Europe realizes we are all going to war in the next 5-10; some type of global conflict involving all nations.

It appears Obama was just snubbed by the UK, Germany and France... Perhaps they've noticed how he treats America's allies.

Note the parsing:
We call on President Mubarak to avoid at all costs the use of violence against unarmed civilians, and on the demonstrators to exercise their rights peacefully.

Just like Prince Harry, I guess the UK, Germany, and France will put all of them on Big Sis Janet's Home Land Security " watch list " .... Mega Sarcasm..

Yes, I think you’re right.
Also, it must be said that the statement is basically hot air: Why can’t we all just get along together and make nice?
That would seem to suggest that they have decided not to express their support for the current regime, but stand back and wait to see what happens.

People, don't forget about the current crises that still exists in Korea.
They think we have done forgotten about that.

Obama could care less about UK. Painfully obvious he has no love for them. He’s still mad that Daddy(or pretend Daddy) was a British subject.

I think you hit that one on the head. More likely than not, what happened was that Obuttocks decided to jump out ahead of the crowd to make it all about him, without working with the rest of the major Western powers - he was going to prove why he was awarded that chintzy little Nobel Peace Prize back in 2009 - and now that he's fallen flat on his face, the rest of the West is returning the favor.
What makes it even more ironic is that the text of the joint message is really not that far off from what Obuttocks said publicly; it's just that it's less about them and more about the desire to adopt a common, unified position on the situation (as well as a somewhat pathetic attempt to split the baby in order to try and make everyone happy).
By contrast, Obuttocks' little speech was basically all about him and his too-exalted view of himself. Presentation is sometimes everything - a little like the way analysts used to try and figure out what the current state of internal Kremlin politics was by checking out who stood next to whom, and who was present and who absent, on the Kremlin wall each year during the Mayday parade.

While the Kenyan has agitators like Axelrod and Crowley making idiotic statements on Twitter. It looks like UK, Germany and France are running away from Obama and his collaborators in the Muslim Brotherhood who started this debacle.

Will our own government abide by their own words here also that they are sending to Egypt ?
" WE THE PEOPLE " in the US Constitution have the " RIGHT " to " exercise their rights peacefully " ....
Or does that only apply to Muslims here and not Christians ?
Will this government abide by their own words that they are sending to Egypt and not shut down the Internet when " WE THE PEOPLE " are exercising our right to " FREE SPEECH " and not have to worry about having our own government spying on us and surveillance ?

I think we can expect a joint statement from Barack Obama and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad very soon.

Obama is not engaged in this crisis, apparently has no real interest in functioning as a President at all, and should be replaced in 2012.
