Once, much of the left-leaning press wallowed in unkind mockery or criticism of President Reagan. Now, opportunistic and canny journalists can’t wait to say “Reaganesque.”

Is there not a bigger insult to Obamah & his rabid liberal base than to attempt to compare Obamah the Collective Marist to Individualist Capitalist Reagan.

Liberals are trying to blur the line between “O’s” abject failure as a ‘President’ and the high water mark for Presidential prowess set by Reagan.

Once they do THAT, “O’s” personal inadequacy and professional unfitness for the Presidency will not appear as glaring by comparison!!

This will be easy, given the fraudulence of the MSM (which has forgotten its charter and its duty to the country) and generations of easily led voters.... courtesy of the NEA….whose OWN duty to the country has been lost/forgotten for so long that Spanish dubloons were legal currency when it was last respected!

It’s the nature of liberals to pervert everything they touch.

Obama can talk like Reagan but that doesn’t make him Reaganesque. And the comparison is an insult to our 40th President.

Why might the MSM be pushing the comparison between Pres. Reagan and Pres. “Spudnik”? My bet is they are thinking... “Reagan lost seats during the mid-term, but went on to an overwhelming reelection victory. Perhaps Obama can do the same if he’s compared to Reagan”. This is false logic, of course, but that’s not going to stop the MSM.

I’m amused that Clinton and now 0bama, after crushing defeats of their party in the midterms, take to identifying themselves with the legacy of Reagan. What better evidence that the “progressive” agenda is BS when given proper scrutiny?

These are the same people who first derided Reagan as a radical right-wing fascist who was just waiting for the chance to blow up the world “several times over.” When Reagan embarked on a strength-first approach to negotiating with the Soviets (to obvious success), the left shifted gears from the Reagan-as-warmonger tact to a Reagan-is-senile one. “See, he flubbed that first debate with Mondale,” liberals said. “See, Nancy has to cue him on his responses to interview questions. He’s losing it for sure,” they (including Reagan’s despicable name-clinging son) claimed.

Praises celebrating the abounding greatness of FDR’s New Deal and LBJ’s Great Society are notably absent. Scarce is the lefty who will even bring up the legacies of JFK or Truman. How about that patron saint (demon) of modern liberalism, Ted Kennedy? Forget it.

And why? Because liberals.. in their tangled, warped, diseased, perverted minds... know their policy positions, when given the proper amount of harsh, revealing light, are correctly seen as disastrous for America.
