There was talk several years ago of the muslim brotherhood tearing down the pyramids because they where pagan objects. Now is the time to destroy the muslim "brotherhood" (hate using that word for them). The war between the islamofacist and the moderates has begun, and what do we have in the White House? The coming weeks are going to be an interesting time to witness.

ElBaradei is a complete stooge. The Egyptian Islamists will use him to topple Mubarak and then kill him and take power themselves.

I’ve been saying on this forum for two years now, that I expect and fear a Jimmy Carter moment in this presidency i.e. an Iranian hostage crisis....

Now this....and how ironic. A leader in a secular Arabic country with cancer. Rioting all around him. Clerics in the background....

But my friends, this is much worse....Tunisia, Yemen....Lebanon....

Hillary Clinton, quiet as a mouse during the Iranian protests, is out there urging the demonstrators and asking for Mubarik to reform....

In short, I expected something to happen in this presidency, but not this. This is ten times worse...

Watch him. He will be as impotent as the muslims take over.....

What lacks only is an American Embassy take over as it happened in Iran.

Israel cannot now count on Egypt for any support.

The whole region as never before is a powder keg.....AS soon as Mubarik leaves the country....(IF Obama does not grant him permission to come here, then we’ve come full circle, as when Carter prevented the Shah from coming here for treatment.)

Things will move quickly now.

I bet ElBaradei is learning some new arm-stretching exercises right now if he’s in Egyptian police custody.

They should have used this on him. Don't know what he's in denial over most: Iranian nukes or modern dentistry.

Mubarak needs to do the world a favor and do away with Mohamed ElBaradei.

You've nailed it. How else does a lifelong UN bureaucrat, even a well-known one, suddenly fly home as a front-and-center candidate for replacing Mubarak? Who is pulling the strings here?

As I have been saying all along, President Barak Obama is former President Jimmy Carter all over again and this year, 2011, 1979. In other words, 2012 WILL be 1980 all over again, mark my words.

Sadly, I sense though Mubarak could be the one who falls. Even from what I have read in the last few days, his son and daugther in law fled Egypt and are now in the UK. That is NOT a good sign for Murbarak.

God Bless and be with Israel, who must be watching this situation very much with a very concerned eye.

An addition, let’s just say he is a JIMMY CARTER ON STERIODS.

My first position is correct with this addition.

Odds are, they truly stank and needed a bath...plus a good beating.

Nailed it. We're in Carter's “2nd term” right now. Just as in 1979, the Arab world is in tumult, while the U.S. president sits on his thumbs. His administration paralyzed by indecision. Tunisia's Jasmine Revolution is now fully exported, even to Europe's doorstep as Albania teeters on the edge of violent overthrow. To those who would posit that Egypt, or Yemen, or Saudi Arabia is not Tunisia I say that in 1979, neither was Iran (Persian) anything at all like the Arab world. We had better start drilling our own oil. Here. Now.
