Boehner, Pro-Life Advocates Launch Bills to Ban Tax-Funded Abortions
Washington, DC -- House Speaker John Boehner and a bipartisan group of pro-life members of Congress held a press conference this morning to launch two bills prohibiting government funding for abortion. The No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act and the Protect Life Act were officially introduced today.

Abortion always has existed, and always will. The harm to society overall (not the harm to the child, of course) is caused by its acceptance. Everyone used to know it was wrong. The common view of abortion as a morally-neutral or even good choice has poisoned the well of respect for all life, born and unborn.

I read a theatrical review of a revival of Raisin in the Sun that compared audience reaction to the suggestion that one of the characters was getting an abortion - in the original production (early 60’s?), the audience gasped with shock and horror. In the recent one, they applauded.
