O-H-H-H

Uh-oh. "O: A Presidential Novel," written by Anonymous and published by Simon & Schuster — otherwise known as Simon & Sh-h-h-h — has journalists chafing to speculate on who or what is behind the cheeky fiction centered on the upcoming 2012 presidential election. The Democrat-blue-hued cover features a golden O and a pair of sky blue ears; the publisher already has confabulated reader polls that plumb opinion of President Obama and the political affiliation of the mysterious scribe, who could easily be, oh, White House adviser David Plouffe. Also included: a waggish list of those who did not write the 368-page book, like Bill O'Reilly, Ovid, George Orwell or Olive Oyl.

Little known fact:

The working title wasn't "O", and the author isn't Ovid nor Virgil, but...

Homer

Wait! They didn’t rule out Oprah...

Or what about Obama himself? Don’t you get the impression sometimes that he’s just sick and tired of actually being president. He likes the perks, hates the work etc. Maybe he’s ratting himself out with a pack of lies that he’ll fiercely deny. But they’ll be so explosive that the book will make him bazillions, but it also will be impossible for him to get renominated, so he’ll chalk it all up to the stupidity/gullibility of the American voter. He’ll “reluctantly” retire to live off the American taxpayer for the rest of his life—supplemented by the proceeds of his book squirreled away in a Swiss bank account.

Just as Clinton survived impeachment, Obama will still be viewed as a rock star among his fiercest devotees and he’ll go down as a hero side-tracked by partisan mudslinging. Historians will write “what if” pieces ad nauseam..

I honestly can’t see anything in the above scenario that Obama would find unpalatable. He knows that governing the next 2 years will be a pain in the rear and that in all likelihood he’ll get defeated in 2012 anyway. Why not engineer a more palatable escape plan?

And Thomas Lifson gives a plug for the book...

Deconstructing Obama is an important book, one that unravels significant parts of the fabric of Barrack Obama’s contrived and closely guarded personal history. Candidate Obama’s stature rested to an extraordinary degree on his first autobiography, Dreams from my Father. Cashill convincingly demonstrates that the claimed authorship of Dreams is a fraud, the most politically significant literary fraud in history. I was able to follow the story Cashill presents from the beginning, and watched as the media did everything in their power to discredit and relegate Cashill’s first-rate detective work to obscurity and opprobrium. The literary and biographical sleight-of-hand committed by the president and abetted by his media allies will not stand the scrutiny of history. This book is a chance for readers to get the real story now.

Obama looks very Ill if you haven’t seen him lately. he is very thin. The tabloids are pushing it as a parasite he contracted in Hawaii on a vacation but I think it is nerves.

I think that there are just too many things going down in flames for him at this point and all his high minded ideas are falling apart in the light of real world application.
he is a failure, nothing he has done has amounted to anything good to this point and that is a strong statement. I mean NOTHING that I can think of trying to be as neutral as I can.

Every one of his policies has hurt the country. The economy, our standing in the world, our power and friendships. His rock star image can only carry him so far.
After that he has to produce and he can’t because he doesn’t have the tools. Link that to his personality disorder which is clearly based upon some narcissistic dysfunction, the people in the White House that have been dropping like flies. His lack of support from the senate and congress (passing all that stuff in a lame duck session wasn’t the work of a bi-partisan genius - more the arm twisting of a desperate thug) knowing full well he couldn’t get most of his agenda passed when he had complete control of the senate and congress.

The prospect of having to deal with a congress that not only will keep him in check but has the power and will to investigate him. - All his legal troubles in the supreme courts on so many issues from is birth certificate to obamacare. The military speaking out against him in numbers I have never seen before - court martial s, transfers and pulled orders for men questioning his eligibility. High ranking retired military people questioning his eligibility.

the prospects of 2012 ...

The man is gonna crack.

I don’t know if this guy Ulsterman is reliable, but I have been following him for a short while - he comes across with a lot of “insider” stuff that just seems to be too true to the mark.

Reading it, it does not look good for Obama. I bet that taking out one or two more of his key players like Valerie Jarrett would cripple him.

I hope that it comes out and starts selling like hotcakes.
One thing that the American public will never stand for is being hoodwinked. Once the rest of America wakes up and realizes that this guy was built on a house of cards, they will destroy him in a landslide.

We need a damn good candidate to utterly destroy him and the socialists that built him and propped him up.
