There have been reports from the FBI and the Sheriffs department that stated that they only recovered 22 spent casings. There were reports that his Glock jammed and there were still cartridges in the magazine that he ejected, so the “inside sources” this reporter is talking to is probably Geraldo.
We’ve been getting conflicting stories on just about every detail of this event. I read an article this morning where a White House source was saying they intended to capitalize on the whole thing to frame the Tea Party, and so they kept repeating what they knew was “misinformation”. IOW, they disseminated disinformation. No wonder we’ve got so many conflicting stories. And I doubt that they’re done with the disinformation.
People talk about conspiracy theorists. Well..... would you say that the White House deliberately spreading misinformation is a “conspiracy”? If they want people to not come up with alternate theories or question the official story line, then they should make the story line at least match itself. When the media, government, and law enforcement (Eric Holder’s DOJ? Hah!) are all so lacking in credibility, and when the stories are constantly shifting and contradicting, anybody who’s really paying attention and cares about truth is gonna wonder what the heck is going on.
