Not to be too nit picky here, but ............

The reporter said: "reintroduce traditional lead balls"

I believe it would have been coreect to say:

reintroduce traditional lead ball cartridges (or ammo).

But saying "lead balls" does harken back to muzzle loaders.

Sheesh...he didn't say "ball ammo", he said "traditional lead balls", which is a different thing altogether from "ball ammo".
