If I were an NFL coach, my players would not be allowed to celebrate big plays on the field... period! I’d tell them to act like they’ve done it before. Act like men who know when the mission is finished and when the celebration is founded. It’s a team sport for men, and little Johnny-On-The-Playground needs to wait until the Super Bowl is won, and then he can crow ALL HE WANTS!
Every time I see a player yanking his own chain before he’s even entered the end zone I wish that someone would sneak up behind him and smack the ball out of his hand, ALA the Cowboy who had that happen in the Super Bowl.
Think of what Vince Lombardi, Hank Stram, Chuck Noll or Tom Landry would have to say about such an end zone celebration. Then think of how they'd react to the 15 yard penalty. Man have things changed.
