GOP Strategist: Palin Prolonged the Polarization and Prolonged the Country's Misery

Andrea Michell is discussing Sarah Palin (what a surprise) with Democrat David Bonier and Republican strategist Vin Weber, here's the video of Weber.

-------

MITCHELL: "She had the choice of when to speak and the tone. and one has to wonder why doesn't she have a wider circling of advisers. i don't know any political strategist of a national campaign, republican or democrat who thinks that was a smart thing to do.

VIN WEBER: "Well, we really don't know who advises her. She's quite isolated from what you might think of as the Republican establishment. No one is quite sure who's advising her. I think she was way off key on what she said and the president was right on key. The country after a catastrophe like this wants a moment when you come together and heal a little bit, and they had been denied that because of all the debate about the polarizatio and the president rescued the moment, if you will, and brought the country together and for governor Palin to have responded the way she did at the time was kind of prolonging the polarization and prolonging the country's sort of misery as they waited for a moment of unity.

Without googling, he was a Congressman from Minnesota, I believe, 15-20 years back. He was wonkish, like Kasich, but just like Kasich, OK Senator Nichols , etc, dropped out of electoral politics despite a so-called “bright future.” He’s probably been getting megabucks as a lobbyist for years would be my guess.

To be fair, Weber was with Romney in 2008, but I believe he’s with Pawlenty now. He’s the co-chairman of his PAC. Probably a detail that should have been mention in the interview.

I don’t think any of these people even read what she said.

Is there a better endorsement possible?

Ah, yes. Vin Weber. I remember that name, from years back. And now I’m filing that name on a certain list, alongside other human trash who have taken advantage of a bloody massacre to slap around Sarah Palin. Not just a scumbag, but a backstabbing scumbag. Man, I’d love to come face-to-face with him right now.

You have a great point. The GOP/RINO/Cocktail Party is VERY afraid of Sarah.

And rightly so.

Thank God!! This is why Conservatives are sooooo supportive of her!

Maybe the media will get their wish. Maybe she won’t run. I hope the media has fun with their scinitllating coverage of the epic Romeny-Pawlenty-Daniels-Thune battle. Talk about excitement. I can just imagine their ratings now.

Palin’s message was presidential and honest and heartfelt and the left realizes it. It came across as that : heartfelt and HONEST, which as left knows very well is the opposite of the won’s sum and substance. No matter how hard he tries w/ his stagecraft and oratory his words ring hollow and dishonest. That’s what ticks off the left. Their styrofoam president against a lion-hearted American woman from Wasilla.

Well, well, well, Win Weber, Obama, Dodd and Romney together with AIG.

Vin, a good number of Republican advisors have been crapping on the gov in the press, either under their own names or anonymously. I wouldn’t be keen on hiring them, either.

Vin Weber and Romney are pro-Sharia, pro-Obama
and anti-Israel.

"Weber said, as he did on many of these topics,
that he favors the approach (of Obama).
Former Sen. George Mitchell is a great choice for special envoy.
Obama has "drawn a line in the sand" by declaring U.S.
opposition to any expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a hard-liner
... who may bolt at any sign of retreat."

Speak the message friend! You are falsely accused of being responsible for multiple murders and you are to keep your mouth shut? Not in my world! Go Sarah!

I’m going to re-register as an independent. The GOP as an establishment will never get another dime from me - ever. I will only donate to individual candidates that I feel are upholding the traditional conservative values upon which this country was founded!

Bet Vin Weber did not mention his association with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright or him being the Policy Chairman for Romney for President Exploratory Committee.

She's quite isolated from what you might think of as the Republican establishment.

Which explains her tremendous popularity.
