TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - One day after mourning a bubbly 9-year-old slain during the attempted assassination of a congresswoman, residents and fellow jurists gathered Friday at the same Tucson church to remember a federal judge.

U.S. District Judge John Roll, who served nearly 40 years, had stopped by a supermarket meet-and-greet for Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords on Saturday when he was shot and killed, along with five others. Authorities say the shooter, 22-year-old Jared Loughner, was targeting Giffords, who was wounded along with 12 others. Giffords' husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, posted a message on Twitter Friday saying "GG" was "improving each day."

The other victim that the press seldom mentions. This mans death doesn't fit the prescribed scenario and the outcome the press is trying to achieve.

Do we know if the Westboro Church folks there? I saw that they were skipping Christinas but going to the judge’s.

They can’t picket. AZ made it illegal.

Yes he was. That’s why the press has ignored his death.

I have thought that from the very beginning...The kid killed a republican, so he is a good guy. They will sacrifice a democrat to get a republ. judge..

A dead conservative republican judge doesn’t fit their scenario. The press is trying to gin up anti-conservative hatred and hopefully an attack. They WANT violence. Then they can silence opposition.

Let me see if I can get this straight.

Sheriff Dumbprick refuses security to the living, knowing of all the dangers.

And to the dead, he provides security.

Is he a democrat or what?

The security was US Marshall’s. Does Sheriff Dumpy have jurisdiction over them? Do you know?
