(CNSNews.com) - Rep. Louis Gohmert (R.-Texas), a former prosecutor and judge and a current member of the House Judiciary Committee, is offering some advice to Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, who has gained national attention since Saturday for his suggestions that radio and television talk shows were somehow responsible for the shooting attack in Tucson that took the lives of 6 people and wounded 14 others, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
Says Rep. Gohmert to the sheriff: Shut up before you do any more damage to the prosecutions case.
At the Capitol on Wednesday, Gohmert told CNSNews.com, As far as advice for the sheriff, you know, hes an elected official. Hes an American. Hes not prohibited by law from making the ridiculous statements that he has that do more to help the defendant than they do anyone else, including the victims. And so, I know as a former prosecutor, my advice to the sheriff would be to shut up before you do any more damage to the prosecutions case.

Proud to have him represent our district.
Message to Sheriff Dipstick - ST*U!
Do you ever post outside of “Breaking News”?
Toothpaste already out of the tube, young man.
Governor Brewer needs to take the gloves off. Go after this idiot, and any liberal moron that is inciting violence.
It is expected that conservative play fair, while the libs and rats cheat. That time is over. Can’t trust a lib!
lol. Good old common-sense Texas.
Dupnik
The Coen Brothers couldn't have written a better-named fool.
During his speech, Obama said something to the effect of the Judge stopping by to say hi. Per a link on Drudge, it is critical to be able to prove the Judge was there in an official capacity for a federal death penalty to stick.
It was mentioned on FOX on Sunday (only once)that the mother worked for this sheriff and got his record expunged so that he could join the Army.
That’s the sherrif’s intent. He’s buddies with the mom, so he has every intention of helping the kid get off with a few months in a mental institution.
She’s had a life long gig with the county parks commission as some sort of parks manager. I’m not sure about the dad.
That's astounding, if true. And if it's true, Dupnik will be looking for a new job any day now.
The Army said NO
Anyone else notice “Stupnik” posing for pictures just before last night’s “memorial” service started?

“His father, Randy, once more of a presence in their mostly working-class neighborhood in northwest Tucson as he went off to work as a carpet-layer and pool-deck installer, became a silent and often sullen presence. “
.....
“She commuted about an hour each day to her job managing Agua Caliente Park, an area of spring-fed ponds surrounded by giant palm trees in the desert on the outskirts of Tucson...... Donna DeHaan, a former board member of the nonprofit group that helps support the park, said Ms. Loughner was a reliable manager with a good background in environmental issues. “
........
I thought this was the article that said the father was a stay-at-home dad.
still doesn’t say if this park job is where mom has been the whole time
Sherriff Dumbprik— you have the right to remain silent, but apparently, not the ability.
the longer Sheriff Clarence Dupnik “digs in”, the worse it will be for him.
The bag of excrement has been put out there as we find out more about Loughner....and Rush has said on many occasions that if a bag of excrement is put into the path of any liberal, that liberal will step in it every time.
Sheriff Dupnik’s career is over....all that is left for him is the formal resignation....or his next election....
