Politics are personal with the ruling class:

“When Bush was 17, he went to León, Guanajuato, in Mexico, as part of his school’s student exchange program. He spent his time there teaching English, and it was there that he met his future wife, Columba Garnica Gallo.”

His wife Columba the smuggler.

All those smuggling charges against her were dropped, right?

That’s okay. I have no problem with that at all.

My wife is Hispanic too. That doesn’t mean that I forsake all other countrymen to grovel at Hispanic’s feet for approval.

She has great folks, and a great extended family. I respect them all. I treat them like I would anyone else, and they treat me like they would anyone else.

I know her folks and I have a good relationship, and I’m fairly positive I have a good relationship with the other family members.

They don’t expect me to jump through hoops. I don’t think Hispanics expect Bush to either.

Just treat them with the same respect you treat other citizens with Jeb.
