Inflation looks to be the biggest challenge for Supervalu as it tries to bring prices back down in line with competitors to win customers back. "With all of our major vendors announcing their intentions to pass along rising costs, we expect store prices to rise throughout the calendar year," anywhere from 3 percent to 14 percent, Chief Executive Craig Herkert said during an earnings conference call Tuesday.

The food supply must be taken away from the fascists in Washington.
The states must step in and tell the federal fascist alaphabet agencies that if they disrupt or attempt to disrupt any state’s food supply, through edict, rule or administrative court decision, they’ll be arrested on charges of state-sponsored terrorism and tried before a state military court. And a finding of guilt will be punished by death by hanging.
It’s time for states to push back hard against these federal nazis.
Someone on the message boards said that Supervalu is “shipping its jobs to India”. No wonder they have to raise prices, if you have to go to India to get groceries.
