The 22-year-old man accused of trying to assassinate Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in a deadly shooting rampage wrote "Die, bitch" in a note found at his home, a sheriff's official told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

It’s becoming more and more apparent why a so called law enforcement officer came out blasting the TEA Party and Sarah Palin before the smoke settled from this tragedy. The boy was quick to point his crooked little finger at somebody else. The problem is, when he pointed his crooked, little finger at someone else, three fingers were pointing back at him.
FOX News just reported on this. The words “assassination” and “Giffords” were also in the note. They also reported that Dupnik told reporters that Jared’s father confronted him the morning of the shooting and chased him into the desert. The Sheriff’s Dept. couldn’t confirm what Dupnik told them.
The mighty sheriff is trying to cover his ass, now...

Looks like Sheriff Dupnik will be facing jail time himself for conspiracy and criminal negligence for his actions prior to the shooting.
Won’t happen - they’ll find someway to hang his incompetence on a conservative - and sure as s**t, we’ll be on defense again.

I dont think someone in Dupnik’s position is supposed to take a political position on anything. They are supposed to be impartial and fair not inserting their personal political spin on a criminal case. The man should be fired and will hopefully not be reelected.

Someone needs to file a FOIA to determine if a 911 call originated from the home or father's cellphone prior to the shooting. Not that the father was right or wrong either way but if he did attempt to notify authorities and they did nothing, the smelly brown stuff should hit the fan.
