Ha!! Even a CBS poll couldn't hide the truth. Most Americans DON'T blame the rhetoric that the media has been trying to pin on Palin.

A percentage of them do though and that amount is likely to be within a point or two of “people” who support the kenyan and are on his little band wagon.

By the way, a clear majority of Republicans and Independents said they don’t blame the rhetoric, i.e. Palin. Basically half of Democrats (49%) don’t either.

Most people agree with Sara Pallin and the Tea party. Most people are smart enough to see that Sara Pallin and the Tea Party are for peaceful change and not violence. It does not take a genius to see what happened in last year election and where peoples belief’s are at. These idiots who keep pushing this nonsense keep digging their hole deeper and deeper. Soon they will make them selves completely irrelevant and then we will really see the lefts violence.

All those that blame political rhetoric can blame this guy ...

Yeah, let’s blame our sorry state on violence-infused rhetoric and political hate speech ...

* “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” Barack Obama in July 2008

* “I want you to argue with them and get in their face!” Barack Obama, September 2008

* “Here’s the problem: It’s almost like they’ve got — they’ve got a bomb strapped to them and they’ve got their hand on the trigger. You don’t want them to blow up. But you’ve got to kind of talk them, ease that finger off the trigger.” Barack Obama on banks, March 2009

* “I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!” Barack Obama on ACORN Mobs, March 2010

* “We talk to these folks… so I know whose ass to kick.” Barack Obama on the private sector, June 2010

* “A Republican majority in Congress would mean ‘hand-to-hand combat’ on Capitol Hill for the next two years, threatening policies Democrats have enacted to stabilize the economy.” Barack Obama, October 6, 2010

* “We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us.” Barack Obama to Latinos, October 2010

Of course it doesn’t specify, among those who DO blame political rhetoric, whether they blame conservative or liberal rhretoric. Still, it’s a good sign that a plurality of Dems and clear majorities of independents and Republicans don’t think the Giffords shooting was politically motivated.

CBS desperately trying to communicate with Dem operative acrross the country to cease and desist with their current MO...it may work to Palin’s favor.

If the pattern around here is representative, there were a goodly number of independents at the Tea Parties, many of whom liked what they heard (at least, they liked it a lot better than what they were hearing from Pelosi, 0bama and Reid). They’ve gotta be wondering WTF the libs are talking about in blaming Palin, and they may even take it a bit personally.

This could backfire big time on the libs.

Those who do so are almost as insane as the shooter.

The media saw a way to smear her and the tea party movement...they looked for and tried to propagate an Oklahoma City....but ended up smearing themselves with a Wellstone Funeral.

Shame on them....but what else is new.

Drive bys must have got wind of something else happening on another street. They are pulling their weapons back in the car and speeding to the next venue.

6 of 10 on a CBS poll basically equates to 9 of 10 for "real life". You DO have to consider the source.

Boy, when the left latches on to a word is used to death. Rhetoric is the new gravitas.

While I would expect the vast majority to reject the rhetoric that Sarah Palin had anything to do with it, but that doesn’t mean in their minds that Sarah is exonerated, it still reinforces the notion that she is a ‘lightning rod’, and people in general are not comfortable with lightning rods, whether it’s warranted or not. I believe that is the intention of those who throw these ridiculous accusations out there. They know it isn’t true, and they know most people know it isn’t true, but still, in the end it has the desired effect in further damaging Palin’s ambitions.
