Attorney General Eric Holder condemned the deadly shooting of federal judge John Roll on Saturday, promising that the Justice Department would assist the FBI in investigating the attack in Tucson, Ariz.

“I want to assure the people of Arizona and every American that we will hold accountable anyone responsible for these heinous acts,” Holder said in a statement.

Here’s Holder’s full statement:

“Today’s tragedy in Arizona was a senseless act of violence that has already resulted in devastating loss, including the death of Chief United States District Court Judge John Roll and four other individuals and the wounding of Representative Gabrielle Giffords and a number of others. All of those who were killed or injured and their families are in our thoughts and prayers.

Yeah, he and Obama are busy today scouring the sewers for the perfect open-border, Constitution-hating, Berkeley-inbred replacement for the now open bench.

And the dirty bastards who orchestrated the murder of three thousand innocent citizens on 9/11 are entitled to every consideration.

And the Ft. Hood shooter continues to be referred to as ‘alleged’ shooter.

Personally I’m a little nervous about the way the feds have taken total control. I just heard that all the judges in the area had been recused from working on this case which means they can’t even sign search warrants etc.

Something odd. And it is hard to be comforted by the DOJ heading the investigation.

I wish this moron felt this way about the Fort Hood shooting.

Good thing the shooter wasn’t a Black Panther.

In 2009, Judge Roll ruled FOR illegal immigrants in a case they brought against an AZ rancher.

Attorney General Eric Holder condemned the deadly shooting of federal judge John Roll........blah blah blah

Yes lawyers and judges are superior to us mere mortals.
Fact is this judge was not gunned down for being a judge.
He was gunned down because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time

The shooter knew Giffords by sight. All the others he killed or wounded he did not know.

Oh, please, Holder is there to cover up any ties of the shooter to the left and obstruct the truth.

Holder is the biggest screw up in our history. He will make a big situation worse.

Yes, I'm in complete agreement. They don't need FBI assistance in this case I'm fairly certain. The Arizona people can handle this. They are more than competent. It's probably not all that complicated. They have the shooter. And you are right about the Judge. It wasn't an attack on a Federal Judge. I'll bet the shooter didn't know he was a Judge. Obama just can't resist getting the Feds involved in everything. It's his nature.

Since this involves a federal judge and a US Congresswoman, it will make it a federal case in all probability.

The shooter will be declared a nut case, sent to a mental hospital until ‘cured’ then some lib judge will release him.

We need a change in law that reads guilty by reason of insanity. Not the current of not guilty by reason of insanity. And once ‘cured’ will serve out a sentence in prison.

Hinkely (SP?) case comes to mind.

Yes, I do hope Holder stays miles away from this case. I mean it is a “no brainer”. The shooter is easy to identify. Many witnesses. The federal judge died, most probably from the gun shot wounds, etc. Eric! Stay away. Please. That’s an order.

Good thing the shooter was white or we'd never get an arrest, let alone a conviction.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Isn’t the shooter a leftist homosexual? Both of those categories will give him some protection.
