Snips from excerpt website. Sixty five years after the end of World War Two and the Holocaust, a leading rabbi in the state of Brandenburg is urging Jews not to wear yarmulkes (skullcaps), traditional long coats, hats or other 'identifying symbols'.
Brandenburg, the state which surrounds Berlin, is a hotbed of neo-Nazi activity and its new chief rabbi Shaul Nekrich said its streets are no longer safe for Jews.

I read the whole, article, and I didn't even see one recent attack detailed, let alone a "spate".
Well, they’ll both be killed when the Muslims take over.
Snip:
December 30, 2010 German leftists march in Berlin with Muslims to protest the 20082009 Gaza military conflict. Death to the Jews! the marchers chant.
At a soccer game between teams from the St. Pauli section of Hamburg and the city of Chemnitz in eastern Germany, the Chemnitz fans shout Sieg heil and wave imitation Nazi flags.
Disco attack on Jews apparently spurred by anti-Semitism
The shared extremism of neo-nazis and migrant youth
Snip: Following an anti-Semitic attack in Hanover, German authorities have identified a new source of anti-Semitic hatred in Germany: young migrants from Muslim families. The ideological alliance has officials concerned.
Arab Yutes attack Jews in Germany
Snip: Six suspects have been identified five Arabic immigrants and one German and police are looking for the other three, police said. The six range from nine to 19 years old and have been questioned by police. Jews leave Swedish city after sharp rise in anti-Semitic hate crimes
Snip: These harsh statements were not written about African refugees who recently arrived in Israel. They were written by Haaretz journalist Aryeh Gelblum on April 22, 1949, and referred to the Jews who had immigrated from North Africa, many of the same immigrants who either themselves or whose descendents now populate south Tel Aviv and who are now spouting similar rhetoric against newly arrived refugees from Africa.
Christians and Jews, I might add, seem to be mocked right here in this country right now. I do believe a Cross was just judged by a court and ordered to be taken down in or near a military cemetery was it not? A Christmas party is now a politically-correct “Holiday” party? Synagogues have been vandalized as have Jewish cemeteries? Never Again; Think Again. This is happening here; not in Germany! Attacks against Jews and Christians are happening all over the world TODAY. We should all re-read our history books and pay attention to the political rhetoric and the media in our own backyards. Liberals are mindlessly dedicated to political correctness; the reality of what is happening here and now is beyond their mindset and not in tune with their Liberal agenda.
Excellent Post!
Excellent, but very depressing.......
I know you mean well but maybe we need to be depressed so we can keep on our toes..Lots of us don’t like the truth..I am depressed ever day with what is happening to our wonderful country until I say my prayer to God every morning..Asking him to bless this country and the people in it.
You are right, of course—but when I look at my 5 kids and 11 grandkids, it’s hard not to get down a bit over what I see happening ——
Every night I ask God to continue to bless this country and to keep it safe from harm, from without and within...........
The same with me I just wonder where we are going from here and hope and pray my children and grandchildren are kept safe..With what we have in government it takes all we can to have a good day..I can’t miss one day praying..God is there to watch over all of us..I feel sorry for those that do not turn to God in these times..
It would behoove us all, as we are forewarned, to prepare for any eventuality..
And no one has mentioned that the most anti-semitic, neo-nazi types are all in former East Germany, not the former capitalistic West. They (the Ossies) were well-schooled in totalitarianism in the GDR, and are applying it in a different manner.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

I’ve worn my yarmulke, tzitzit, peot and beard and been jeered at, threatened, cursed at, had things thrown at me, had insane gigantic subway preachers sermonize against me, had troubled yout’s screaming “YOU STEEENK!” at me, once I was surrounded by an angry mob, one of them shrieking “YOU A DEBIL!” two inches from my nose, and never even once have I considered becoming less conspicuous. Rabbi, it’s their problem, not yours. Force them to show their true colors, and stand tall, showing your own.
I’m proud of you for walking the walk of your faith. There is a LOT of bigotry and hatred from everyday people in this land. When we had Japanese exchange students (2 at one time once), we had people calling the young boys disgusting names. That war ended lots of years ago, but the bigots and haters remain and likely will always be there (whether or not it is right or wrong).
What’s the best thing for a Christian to do when they see the kind of hate you’re describing? Should we quietly stand with you? Turn to the idiots and say, “did you know Jesus was a Jew?”. What would help?
Batter Up!

Any thing is better than what most people do, stand by and do and say nothing. Up to you how far out you want to go on a limb, but at least climb the tree, make some kind of a stand (no need to quote Burke, as his words are already well known).
They’ll be doing it to you next. In fact, in much of the Islamic world, right now, Christians of all denominations already in the cross-hairs previously occupied by Jews, who have almost all left.
