Whore, Bastard, “Gay”, etc. are among the first words they learn, thanks to the Mex. using them as casual greetings in addition to their use as insults.
Kids on the east coast probably know the same words in Italian and maybe even Yiddish.

That is the standard in many other countries. The U.S. standard on this subject has been lacking for far too long. There are many reasons why our competitive position in the world is sinking but the inability of our graduates to compete on the world stage is surely one of them.
English may be the universal language of business in the world but anyone that has dealt with foreign trading partners or worked overseas knows how valuable it is to be able to speak a second or third language.
