This is not a professional, but someone who thinks he's on to something juicy who will drive his agenda. Then he ended the conference with a reiteration about "vitriol."

For what it's worth the Sheriff was at least three or four good "belts" into the wind during a press conference made "strange" only because he took point. The remainder of the law enforcement professionals were highly selective in their choices of words, one whale of a lot more circumspect.

The Sheriff may have thought he was on point but when a federal judge "happens" to end up assassinated the big dogs on on the ground pretty fast.

The Left made a major mistake deciding to politicize this in their self-induced panic so early into the story. That move left them wide open for an otherwise inappropriate counter-attack, and the facts about this kid, his alcohol poisoning and his burning flag, don't say "patriot."

I don't think anyone of sound mind needs to lose any sleep over the "back lash."

Does anyone know: Is it true that the little girl killed was born on 9/11/01?

He can stomp his feet all he wants to. This is America and he has a political opposition whether he likes it or not.

Clarence Dupnik is an incompetent unhinged sonofabitch who is more interested in getting his editorial comments out than in doing his job. I won’t be surprised if we learn he or his office gave out the initial erroneous information that was reported by NPR and others, out of haste to prove a right-wing cause behind todays atrocity. Dupnik already is on record calling the AZ immigration law “stupid” and “racist” and saying that he would not enforce it. He has been sheriff for 30+ years and is 75 years old...surely the people of Pima County deserve better than this nasty old man?

For now, he’s made it clear he is not objective and has a personal agenda, so he must be removed from the case. Already his involvement is limited because the Feds will take over, but he deserves public scorn and humiliation for his failure to keep his personal political agenda out of his professional activities.

Dupniks worths will be picked up and repeated ad nauseum now by the MSM as “proof” of the need to control free speech and “vitriol” on talk radio and the rest. All of which is pure Bulls#it that was manufactured in the mind of Clarence Dubnik to serve his own twisted purposes.

Screw you sheriff Dubnik! Resign!

I blame Sheriff Clarence Dupnik for the shooting. He claims there that there are words that will cause this kind of shooting spree, notably in Arizona. So why did he not take steps to protect the victims? Dems blamed G. Bush for 0/11 because it happened on his watch. Same thing here.

Dupnik is looking to take any attention from him. Laughner had been arrested on drug offences. He never should have been able to get a gun under Dupnik’s watch. Hence the Democrat blames Palin.
