COUNCIL BLUFFS — At the moment, outgoing Iowa Gov. Chet Culver has no definitive plans for the future but would like to remain a voice for renewable energy, he said during a farewell stop Wednesday in Council Bluffs. Advertising

“I think energy security is the most important issue we're dealing with in this country,” he said.

The growth of Iowa's renewable energy industry was his biggest accomplishment during his four years as governor, Culver said.

“Today, 20 percent of our power in this state is renewable power, and that's up from 5 percent when I started.”

Hey, Chet, you commie bag of maggots, I use renewable energy - wood.

But you and your greenie-weenie statist maggots don’t want be to use it because it releases CO2.

Go mind your own stinking business.

The windmills that dot the Iowa landscape are just hideous. I will concede that ONE windmill turning in the wind can be a bit majestic...

But dozens scattered randomly facing different directions and not moving at all is an eyesore.

Wind power is a scam. It requires massive tax subsidies to exist with no hope of ever paying it's way.

We need to yank renewable subsidies and reduce barriers for the nuclear industry.
Nuclear is our best hope for energy independence.
Renewables are a scam and a false hope.

Chet Iowans may have a different view of your “renewable” energy when they are unemployed and sweltering or freezing in darkened homes.
