In House, new Republican majority plans to act fast to undo Obama's agenda

Almost as soon as they take control of the House at noon Wednesday, Republicans will embark on a 20-day plan aimed at undoing major aspects of President Obama's agenda as they seek to take advantage of the weeks before the Senate's return and the president's State of the Union address.
The first move will come Friday, when the House begins the process of repealing the new health-care law. House leaders will then quickly begin to identify tens of billions of dollars in proposed spending cuts and to ease regulations that businesses find burdensome.
Much of what Republicans do will be symbolic, given that Democrats still control the Senate and the White House. But the quick action will allow Rep. John A. Boehner (R-Ohio), the incoming speaker, and House Republicans to follow through on campaign pledges and to try to establish their party as a bulwark against what they see as an out-of-control government.

With Republicans in charge in the House next year, the Democrats contend, Obama needs new faces who might be better suited to negotiate with a resurgent GOP and come up with a fresh alternative to the now-dated 2008 campaign message of "hope and change."

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.
It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.
The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America.
Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool.
It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."
BS! The House controls the purse strings. (unfortunately they signed the budget extension for a few months during the Lame Duck Session) It is TIME to DownSize DC! Pubbies get creative and dry up the funding for much of what the Commie Dems did over the past 2 years.
If he is truely a citizen, he is not a fool but a Traitor. If he is not a citizen, what is he? It is correct that the biggest threat to the nation is the poorly informed electorate. It is time to expose those who put this "post turtle" there.
Passing a torrent of 2-page bills like HC Repeal will produce a montage of vetos, ensuring a single term. The Will of the People shall prevail.
...maybe, maybe not...as they say: we will see...
....I think that there are a lot of 'rats who know that their lifestyle will change dramatically if they lose their cushy Congressional job. These people probably have bitchy wives and children who remind them every day that they don't want to go back to their "old" life....so these 'rats just might vote with the Republicans.....
...and it will only take 4 or 5 to change the Senate vote....heh heh
Its my fondest wish that they'll shove his legislative 'achievements' right up his commie backside in the first week of the session. We shall see.
Tea Party to the 26% who identify themselves as Socialists. “Keeping your azz free whether you like it or not”.
Given the utterly untrustworthy leftists who ARE the MSM, we will have to see what happens. Reading about it before hand is pointless as lies will outnumber facts by 100 to 1.
Yup, just saw some talking head on the TV not 2 minutes ago. Roughly, she said that "Republicans need to drop this stupid idea of repealing Obamacare and work with Democrats to fix what's ailing the economy".
Sounds like a good "misdirection" talking point. Particularly as BOcare is a large factor in what's ailing the economy, IMHO.
