Sergey and Larry are the brothers Damien never knew. Was Eric Schmidt this evil when he was at Sun Microsystems?

He's been evil since at least 2008. Hard to tell before that date (from Wikipedia):

Eric Schmidt was an informal advisor to the Barack Obama presidential campaign and began campaigning the week of October 19, 2008, on behalf of the candidate.[23]

He had been mentioned as a possible candidate for the new Chief Technology Officer position which Obama created in his administration.[24] In announcing his endorsement for Obama, Eric Schmidt jokingly said that with his $1.00 salary, he would be getting a tax cut.[25]

After Obama won, Eric Schmidt was a member of President Obama's transition advisory board. He proposed that the easiest way to solve all of the United States' problems at once, at least in domestic policy, is by a stimulus program that rewards renewable energy and, over time, attempts to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy.[26]

He has since become a new member of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology PCAST.[27]

I just don't understand how an excellent engineer and successful businessman can fall for this crap. Unless he's been compromised.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Forgot to add that I use scroogle to surf google

http://scroogle.org/

This limits the amount of data on your surfing search habits, it does not hide or remove them from the ISP your linked to, but it helps.

I think it may be time for a poor mans list of simple things to help those who wish to stunt the tracking of their web surfing habits...

Will start thinking of the list today and ttart a posting later this week...
