TARP was used to bail out favored Lobbyists and Campaign Contributor constituencies (Unions, Bankers, and Lawyers), PLUS redistribute lots of "Whitey's Wealth" to those poor inner-city parasites:

It really annoyed me big time that Bush put no limits on bank executive bonuses and related compensation. It is now my understanding that most of th TARP funds will actually be repaid, and that a profit is even being talked about.
