I've been wondering how the Mysterious One really feels about abortion. If, as I suspect, his mother was sent "away" when she began to show, and might have had thoughts about giving the baby up which went away when he was born, then I think she might have considered an abortion back in 1961 if it had been legal.

Seriously? Abortion on demand was the only policy he showed any passion about while he served in the Illinois Legislature. We know he voted 'present' over one hundred times - in order not to establish any documented trail (and also because he was probably too lazy to study the bills ... or he flat out didn't care) - but when a bill was presented to protect babies that survived a Late Term abortion (I guess this occurs when the murdering attendant 'missed' with his scissors plunge into the baby's brain during the delivery) - The O'Bummer led the effort to block the bill...
The only thing he fought for during his service in the Illinois Legislature.
What a guy.

Just had a young friend who went through with an abortion. I tried to talk her out of it, but she also was told at the clinic that it was “at this point” just a mass of cells and therefore took some sort of pill that made her spontaneously miscarry.

She had a boyfriend who was too worried about what his parents would say and she also was worried about disappointing her parents. She and her boyfriend are both over 25 and have good jobs.

Women are easily duped, but they also choose to believe things that make their lives “easier” in the short term.
