People used to rely on voting, in the hope that it would make the country better. But it didn't.
People ranted and raved on the internet, in the hope that it would make the country better. But it didn't.
People showed up at public demonstrations called Tea Parties, in the hope that it would make the country better. But it didn't.
People exposed the truth about government, through wikileaks and youtube, in the hope that it would make the country better. But it didn't.

What's left? Armed rebellion. Nothing else seems to be working.

It has served its purpose as the opiate to the electorate of this nation. Vote, immediately feel a sense of euphoria, after the results come in, depression begins.
