You people are nuts. The Republicans had no more votes in the Lameduck session than it had in the regular session.

If you expected more voting power to suddenly appear because Democrats were motivated to bow to the Republicans over that win, you really don't know Democrats ~ which is a good reason to NOT LET YOU GET INTO POWER.

The new day starts on the first day of the new session in January.

Its amazing how many have bought into this tactic. The new congress hasn’t even taken office and they want to throw them overboard.

Understood.

I've seen freepers who seemed to indicate that the new folks elected last November have been casting bad votes. Obviously, they are not yet seated, so they have not been casting any votes, good or bad. I get that.

My anger is with the old stalwarts like Snowe and Collins, and the relatively new Brown. They saw the results from Nov. They know which way the wind is blowing. They understand that Obama is a disaster -- and those establishment Republicans STILL INSIST on helping Liberal Democrats push their agenda forward.

The Lame Duck Congress was the perfect time for the existing Republicans to show that they "get it".

Well, they don't.
