It's not federal, but per-state. However, as of 2008, all 50 States have enacted some form of Safe Haven law.

Thank you for mentioning that, since I didn't realize that all 50 States now had it. Nebraska and Alaska were the most recent to enact something.

We have it here in Ohio. Drop off at any police station, fire station and emergency room, no questions asked.
