Vets protest plan opening military to homosexuals

Officer requests command relief over scheduled 'behavior modifications'

Veterans and active duty personnel alike are reacting harshly to the news that Barack Obama has signed the repeal of the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy, and one much-needed leader already could be lost to the military.

A lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army has confirmed to WND that he is asking to be relieved of the command of his squadron because of the new policy. And former combat personnel are telling WND that they are continuing to keep the pressure on Congress to reverse itself.

"I have already requested through my chain of command that I be relieved of command of my squadron prior to new policy implementation on grounds that my personal beliefs don't permit me to force the coming 'behavior modifications' training and other inevitable policies on my soldiers," the officer, whose name has been withheld, wrote to WND.

The statement highlights the question of whether soldiers themselves are ready to go along with the controversial social experiment imposed by Congress, or whether they'll carefully withdraw from command positions and troop ranks, pack their bags and leave the military.

Members of the military or veterans who have concerns about the policy change can send their stories to WND.

Earlier, during congressional debate over the radical Obama plan to make the military more "gay"-friendly, officials reported that 12.6 percent of the personnel, some 264,600 soldiers, said they would leave sooner than planned because of the change. Another quarter of a million said that would be among their options when considering their careers.

Another member of the military, whose name also is being withheld, warned that group showers, lack of doors on bathroom stalls and no doors in dressing areas now become issues.

"Who do I sue if I feel harassed? The drill instructor? His commanding officer? The post/base commander? Or does my harasser suffer a fall going down the stairs? Or from a high point in the obstacle course? How many harassment complaints until the pervert is washed out? How many witnesses to the event are required?" he asked.

I was talking to a friend on the phone the other day when this passed, and I said that the open faggots would probably fall down the stairs when this was implemented, but he said our troops would not do something like that. Well, here it is, from the troops themselves.

NO FAGS IN THE MILITARY, PERIOD!!

America! It's about

★ Estimated Value – PRICELESS! ★

The DADT will never be repealed or over ruled because there aren't enough politicians with the balls to do It

The military is no place for social engineering, and this policy is clearly causing problems with morale.

The military has one objective; to defend our country, with a high degree of readiness. Period.

I’m not sure how valid this information is:

...or how wise a course of action it is. But count me among the ranks of Army officers who will not serve alongside openly gay soldiers. Fortunately for me the clock is pretty short.

Back in 1966, while in Basic, we served KP at an outprocessing homo barracks.

We were warned of things we might see and were forbidden to laugh or make any jokes about it. We did see things and I hope to never see them again!

Well, gee, I thought I heard on foxnews that 70% of American’s think this is a good idea. Think it was on Bret’s show, but, can’t remember which one on the panel said that.

Expect to a return to prosecutions for misbehavior ~ rather than simply letting these guys out of the service on a General Discharge.

They cannot behave themselves ~

Simple and to the point, well stated Sir. Oh, if My Late Father were alive today, he would be very mad at what his beloved America is turning into. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I am presuming the new policy will be “Shut Up, Bend Over”.

I don’t blame him. I’d also get the hell out the new, transformed “homosexual military” the first chance I got. It will no longer be compatible with anyone who holds solid Christian or solid moral values.

I applaud all the service members who stand on principle and would rather resign than serve given a repeal of DADT.

This however, plays right into the libs plans.

All service members of conscience would voluntarily leave, opening the door for field promotions of spineless, political opportunists who will do whatever they are told to do regardless of legality or morality.

Making the Army bleed to death without fighting back in Afghanistan wasn't enough.

I don't know if anyone here has been to “Re eduction camp”, but I have. I worked for a company that had a Gay HR agenda. It's disgusting. "Soldier, just because your officers hump each other, you must still respect them and follow orders. Remember, Three is not a crowd, especially in an Officers tent."

The only hope the military has is that the GO drag out the implementation of the then law. I do not hold out to much hope for that.

You know why they don’t have the balls to do it? Because too many of us don’t have the balls to MAKE them do it.

Sad, isn’t it?

Despite fiscal conservatism — the Tea Party — society is still going down the liberal path. It’s going to the dogs quickly...
