Obama AND Hillary totally ignored constitutional government in Honduras.
According to Article 239 of the Honduran constitutional, it is unconstitutional for any sitting Honduran president to do anything to encourage changing the constitution to allow for a second Presidential term, under penalty of immediate removal from office.. Zelaya ignored this and pushed for a referendum (he already had the ballots printed up—by Chavez, no less).
The Supreme Court of Honduras voted unanimously that he had to step down, as did the unicameral Honduran National Assembly by an overwhelming margin, even his own party voted that he had violated the Constitution and had to step down.
It was AFTER he refused to step down, that the military was asked by the Judicial and Legislative branches to remove Zelaya. This was NOT a “military coup” by any serious definition.
Neither Obama nor Clinton appear to possess the slightest understanding of the concept of “Constitutional Government.” Maybe they are just racists and think they know better than the brown people of Honduras what Honduras needs.

Only a Democrat would cooperate with a foreign dictator to consign a people to totalitarianism. Clinton did it. Carter did it.
And Nixon catches hell for purportedly supporting Pinochet and freeing the Chilean people from a Communist yoke.
They have to understand it, and I'll assert they do understand it, the better to cicumvent and destroy it. They knew the facts, the 'press' knew them too. Any third-grader could easily get the straight dope on the Honduran scene as well. Our government is a leftist, collectivist, mob-supported cabal. They alone get to define 'good relations' in Latin America. And like in the Carter days, their definition of 'good relations' includes 'support communists', by whatever means they can get away with.
