Unfortunately, the holder of power on such matters is the Open Borders Lobby and it is BIPARTISAN.
More unfortunate, the issues of immediate and effective border security and illegal immigration are no where near the top of the priority list for our candidates. Those candidates for whom it is, well, the GOP won’t let them see the light of day. Those voters for whom it is, well, we’re generally labeled ‘one issue’ voters who simply won’t settle for the less-than-perfect candidate.
I don't want to believe you, but after the bipartisan assault on morality that we're witnessing from this lame-duck congress, you're probably right.
