Christmas photos from the same place. I've seen photos like these before (and more of them), but not these specifically.

From my link above:
Safety experts from Cedar City and with the Governors Office and Department of Public Safety examined the dam and found it was holding. Soil on the dam was running off the bank, but the clay core appears stable, engineers said.

Jew prayers for those in Utah.

Has anyone looked at this “lake”? It is about 30 acres from what I can see on the satellite photos. It may be a problem but probably not a disaster. Water won’t even go through the parks.

It is enough to give you a serious Saturday of yard clean up 50,000 CFS is a lethal volume of water. No force on earth can stop it. It WILL destroy everything in its path if it is remotely confined.

I could not see that ROCK that is in the picture of the lake behind the dam.
It might be in one of the coves.

It’s a really fun place! You can vacation there and volunteer to help them w/the animals at the same time!

Spare the nineteenth hole!!!;)
To: CedarDave
Looking at that picture, I wouldn’t be sleeping in Rockville tonight. If the odds of collapse are one in six, I’m not in the mood for Russian roulette.
