So I guess Dad won’t be teaching his son not to hit girls. What a jerk! Lock him away!!
Maybe he is out of town, like in VAIL!
Stupid dad, stupid(er) reporter.
Dude...admit it.
You posted this ^strictly^ for the headline.
Fess up...
That’s the risk w skiing “Haymaker”.....
(Hey, Just tryin’ to lighten things up here....)
What a jerk.
I am an expert boarder and have been bumped or run over by so many nOOb boarder and skiers it ain’t funny. This when there isn’t a person around and they have all kinds of white fall down or run into a tree, as I would prefer.
Sometimes people just can’t help looking at another person and wherever your eyes are focused that is exactly where you are going.
Life’s tough but once you realize the why of it, you just blow it off, laugh and remind them how it happened.
That said, I’d like to kick this guy’s azz or at least have him kneel below a piste and I come over the top, see him and then plane out in the air, whomping him right in the chest with my board.
You don’t hit kids, Lamo-retard.
If this is MY daughter, I'm not taking time to find out why you're attacking her, I will shoot until you are no longer a threat. If your son is lucky, he'll learn a life lesson from your astounding stupidity and lack of self control.
This guy is no "man".
When my daugher was 5 years old she had already been skiing for 2 seasons and was easily able to handle a slope on her own. We were at a place called Ragged Mountain in NH. We started at the top and worked our way down to the bottom. I would ski a couple of hundred yards, stop, she would ski past me a couple of hundred yards, stop, etc.
We were near the bottom in an area that was 1 step above the bunny slope. She stopped and was waiting for me. I pulled up next to her. Then I heard this guy yelling and next thing I knew my daughter was gone. This guy looked like a monster next to her, built like a lineman and was totally out of control when he hit her. Fortunately he had the presence of mind to grab her in a bear hug as he hit her and held on to her as they went tumbling down the slope. She was wearing a helmet and didn’t get hurt. In fact she wasn’t even fazed by it, she just brushed herself off and went to gather up her equipment. The poor guy was apologizing over and over again while trying to keep from crying. He thought he killed her.
Accidents happen on ski slopes, especially when you are in a beginner’s area like we were. Heck, Liam Neeson’s wife died from a fall tha wasn’t even close to the one as bad as my daughter took. The jerk in this story sounds like he didn’t even take a second to see what happened he just went off on the poor girl who was probably as upset as his kid was.
I’ve skied there often. You have to watch out for those @sshats skiing under the influence. A lot of them are jerks to begin with, but there is a lot of skiing while drunk or worse.
I hope they throw the book at this one.
What a role model.
On the same trip, a small head cold traveled to my ears and I went home with two black eyes, a broken nose, and two ruptured ear drums. No matter! I wasn't discouraged. I had a great time.
I just **love** skiing!
Will a beer summit make things better?
