Yes, and one more comment. I wonder if the Tea Party movement might become involved in things like school curricula, textbooks, what outsiders speak to assemblies of students, etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if some TP organizations do, and it could vary in different parts of the country.
No 'perhaps' about it. The destruction of this nation, as we have known it, *is*, at this point, inevitable. Inevitable, but not unforeseen. For far too long, far too many American Christians chose to ignore the implications inherent in the Book of Revelation. They chose to ignore that global means exactly that, global, as in worldwide. They felt that somehow, the US would be exempted, but it should be apparent to any believer with two functioning brain cells that this is most emphatically not the case. The US, or whatever takes the place of the current moribund entity at present, will both slaver over the pseudo-Christ, and follow his call to war against Israel, with disastrous results.
We've been seeing the seeds of this for decades, and closing our eyes to the implications thereof. Yet another delusion, in a season of 'strong delusions'. The 'show' will begin in earnest soon, and His will is going to be done, regardless...

“How does it feel rightwingers....to have ceded our entire culture to the commie-left?”
Well, since this happened even prior to my birth decades ago, I cant feel responsible for it...
“We gave them all of Academia, the News Media, and Hollywood. (no Conservative in their right mind would do entertainment TV..it is beneath us!) “
Overstatement that neglects the brave culture warriors who DO hold out in all these places raising the conservative banner...
But this is noteworth from the story:
“But it’s never bad to remind ourselves that with the important exception of abortion rights, the culture war moves in only one direction, and that direction is the one progressives want. In all of the spheres the culture war touches on, we’re a more progressive country than we used to be.”
It is hard to consider the killing of human beings, including the unborn, a ‘progressive’ advance.
so sad isn’t it?
The more you cry, the more they laugh. Focus on our win, not theirs.
