Remember how much we saw Barney? "W" always had him visible and Barney would run out to meet him when W returned. Even the reporters loved Barney!

Compared to Bo I think Buddy had it relatively good.

Am sure he is a prop. . .just as was Clinton's dog; who spent most of his live in the basement quarters - or so it was offered that was the case. That said; given the Obama's disdain of America's heritage; Bo probably has run of the house - doing 'whatever'. But again; could be wrong here; just don't think so. As well, many/most (?) Muslims do not like dogs; and am betting this is a 'first dog' in every sense, for Obama. (Which for some reason, makes me wonder if Obama has ever pwned or even driven a car. . .for real. . .)
