Does Obama ever travel WITH the dog? I remember at least one other occasion where Obama and the dog went to the same place but did not travel together. There always seems to be an excuse why Bo is on this plane, and Obama is on that plane.

I can't help but wonder if he gets the loving a normal pet would get or if the poor guy is just a prop.

I think Socks the cat made out OK. Socks was given to clintons secretary if I remember correctly but the dog, moved to NY and was killed by a car in the street. Both animals were props I feel sure. nobama uses to “I pick up dog poop” line to seem like one of us, but maybe the girls really love Bo.

They had two dogs that met the same fate. They had a cocker spaniel when he was governor of Arkansas that was hit by a car. Then poor Buddy got hit after they moved to NY.

You may be right about the girls loving Bo (in fact, I’d bet money on it) but as a cat owner, I can say that Socks got screwed. The only way I’d give my cat away is if I couldn’t take care of her, and a couple of millionaires living in a huge house certainly did not have that problem.

Of course, to balance that out, it appears Ms. Currie took excellent care of him. He live to be almost 20.

Bo probably has a Birth Certificate and Diploma from Doggie School that we can actually see too!
