“I don’t understand FReepers who continue to attack the senator even when he makes the right votes.”

I agree with you. They claim they attack McCain because he is not conservative on some issues, then when he IS standing up for conservative issues, they attack him, applaud the liberals’ attack on him, while the same FReepers say nothing about the traitor Republicans who voted with the Democrats. It does make you wonder...

From the article: “Earlier in the week, he (McCain) was observed in the unseemly act of publicly gloating on the Senate floor over his success in killing a massive spending bill. He’s also been raising hurdles to the ratification of the Obama administration’s nuclear arms treaty with Russia. At the same time, he led the opposition Saturday to repealing the ban on openly gay men and lesbians serving in the military - taking on Lieberman, who led the other side. “

From this article, interesting how now the press is ridiculing lord McCain for his 'antipathy' toward BamBamKennedy??? A decade ago, his antipathy toward President George W. Bush led him to seek common cause with Democrats to thwart a Republican president. Now his antipathy toward President Obama has made him a leading Republican hardliner.

I can only guess that you slept through all the two year old style temper tantrums old lord McCain threw... He slept with the left all through the Bush years and voted with them at every opportunity... And chances are we would not have obamination today had lord McCain literally been a conservative...

You'll never be able to tag me with that kind of inconsistency. I've been reliably hostile to McQueeq for the best part of a decade.

Johnny, you're the one who told the American public that Obama was your friend and that they had nothing to fear from his Presidency. It's TOO LATE to bitch about Obama now!!!
