See how your senator voted.......Chicken SH!t Joe Manchin didn't vote. He may not vote with the Republicans yet, but you can see on the tough votes he ain't gonna vote with the Rats either. I also see Hatch played chicken as well. Gregg is leaving so no loss there that he did not vote, same with Bunning.

111th Congress.........the worst Congress in the history of the United States. This should go down as a big history lesson for the future and referenced when things go wrong in our country. It should be shown time and time again as to what can happen when we don’t pay attention and when we give to much power to politicians in Washington DC. Power must be in the hands of the states, not the Feds.

What’s little weasel Hatch’s reason for not voting?
I know what it is but what’s he saying?

Jim Bunning (R-Ky) did not even vote. What does he have to lose? Spineless Republican!

Victory for freedom and America!

This is not just a vote this is the most important vote. If this Dream act had passed then the U.S. would have been finished.

RINOs as many of you all call them, Republican Scott Brown and Republicans stopped the Dream act! Yeah 3 Republicans voted for it but many of you will use those 3 to slander all Republicans even though 95% of Republicans voted to stop the Dream act. This is what happened last Amnesty try few years ago and most other horrible bills.

All you democrat sympathizers who claim to be conservative lets hear your praise of Republicans now.Yeah sure you’ll just bash them for some other liberal media lie.

Vastly outnumbered, Republicans stood like a stone wall against the Marxist/democrat horde! Thank God for Republicans!

Lots of posturing going on now, so they can tell voters “I didn’t vote FOR...”

Almost have more respect for the libs who stand by their (wrong) beliefs than the Rs who don’t even show up to vote “Present”.

It’s odd. Hatch has said all along he was opposed to this Dream Act, so why didn’t he vote?

Departing Bunning is sure not afraid to take a stand. Wonder if something prevented him from voting.

Don’t know about departing Gregg.

Manchin taking the easy way out to avoid a controversial vote.

And the same four were non-votes on Dream Act and DA/DT.

Amazing, bashing Republicans when Republicans stopped this Dream act, voted 95% to stop this.

You all deserve the socialism the democrats will bring when they are the only party.

You all have no understanding of cloture nor of anything so you are puppets of the liberal media.

You need 60 to get this to the floor. If you don’t vote for it then it doesn’t go to the floor.

For cloture, not voting is the same as opposing cloture, since all that matters is the affirmative votes (needing 60).

In fact, if I expect to see ONE change the democrats could pull, it would be to modify cloture to be “60% of those voting and present”, instead of “60% of the whole”.

Cloture USED to be “2/3rds of those voting and present”, but Byrd pushed the rule change to the current rule.

The problem with the “60% of the whole” is it means the opponents don’t have to show up (just the one to keep unanimous consent off the table).

Not really about you. I don’t care anything about you nor want to know anything about you. However your post seems to suggest concentrating on 3 Republicans when the threat is the democrat party. This is a great victory while many of you are obsessing on perfecting a party etc. It is to spread the truth.

I wrote Senator Lugar a week or so ago and warned him that he would lose my support if he voted for this act.
Since he voted for it, I will support anyone running against him.
You appear to be confusing Republicans and Democrats with conservatives.

I hate this Lugar but you all think that you can get a perfect party when that is impossible.95% of Republican Senators did the right thing on this Dream act and so stopped it. But 95% voting the right way, that is not good enough for you all.

Democrats vote 95% the wrong way, for socialism and Amnesty. So I support the Republican party in general that votes 95% the right way. And I support the Republican party because it is the ONLY ALTERNATIVE TO the democrats. Not that getting rid of RINOS is not important but that seems to be the main topic here while I haven't seen anyone talk about how to destroy the democrat party .So I do it.
