Exactly. For folks who rely on themselves and don't think that life means sucking on the federal teat, a government shutdown isn't such a horrible thing. But for the drones who live off the efforts of others, shutting down the government tantamount to depriving them of oxygen.
I can tell you that the federal civilian employees won't mind at all; they'll get paid anyway, so shutting down the government is a free vacation for them.
