I prefer the Senate reading something rather than voting on it.
Oh, and not all of us can understand Latin. But some of my favorite phrases have ‘ad astra’ in them.

How do you work on a bill if you dont know whats in it? You read then work on it.

My Latin has about 50 years of rust encrustation.
Translation, please!

This was supposed to have been done before the end of September. Who’s been wasting time, Senator?

You might have something here. The bill should be read in English and Spanish, first one, then the other. It’s the PC thing to do. Maybe there should be a reading in Ebonics. Now that I think of it, a reading in Yiddish is in order.

I don’t work on anything new without reading something about it.
I wonder if he even lightly skims through the owner’s manual of new items.
Probably not if he’s spending OP’s money.
He reminds me of the guy who says “Instructions are for suckers!” and leaves six extra screws laying around after assembly.
I wish the stupid voters would wake up or stay home instead of torturing us with their lame picks.

Maybe that’s the only way to see what’s in it, is to pass it? That worked so well with the health Care Bill!
And yet Kerry will win handily in 2012. Wait- are Kerry and Brown BOTH coming up for election at the same time?

Note to the lunatic Kerry:
You dullards NEED to read the bills you pass BEFORE you pass them.
I know you guys care nothing for the will of the People, but for your own self preservation think about the mess you created for yourselves by wanting to blindly pass a nonsensical bill.

Wait- are Kerry and Brown BOTH coming up for election at the same time? No, by constitutional definition. The only exceptions are if a special election for one class sinator is scheduled at the regular election of the other class. Kerry in '14 and Scott in '12.
