Pelosi and Reid have pulled every trick in the book, including the dirty ones and the unconstitutional ones. The GOP MUST fight back RIGHT NOW, or they are history.
No more promising to have bills read on the floor, and then breaking the promise. No more damned surrender.

Many House Democrats want to impose a higher estate tax, bringing back the levels in place in 2009. They persuaded House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to allow a vote on the change, arguing that the higher estate tax would affect only 6,600 of the wealthiest estates, and would save $23 billion. Don't you just love the way that is worded. It's not her $23 billion to save. It's our money for Nasty to try to steal.

The republicans need to keep enough people in the house and senate 24/7 until the new congress is seated to make sure the Dems don’t scheme to hold a one hour notice 2:00am session and pass this bill. Most likely Christmas morning.

Do not get hopes up. It will pass.

I believe all this is a dance to time the 'win' of the Dream Act. This is the Holy Grail for the rats and they chose to ram this thru at Christmas while no one is really watching, as well as a big F.U. on their way out the door.
If the dummie Pubs help this thru they are in effect exile ing themselves to minority status forever. You have to think many of them want it that way. If you're into it for the goodies, while take on the burden of leadership.

Like many of you I was rejoicing when it was learned Obama was pushing for the Bush Tax Cuts extension. Loved the way it angered the Left. But the Devil is in the details on this bill, and 8 Billion in earmarks is just not acceptable.
To: Blue Turtle
The Dems want more earmarks
