FREEZING Britain will be buried by the worst blizzards in 100 years today. Drifts of up to 6ft are expected as 60mph Arctic gales batter the country....Long-range forecaster Jonathan Powell, of Positive Weather Solutions, said the freeze could last until mid-February and the temperature this winter could plummet to a record low.

And the global warming alarmists in Britain have been predicting that children in the UK wouldn't ever see snow.

I wonder how many folks are going to head over to the pub to try to get a repeat performance of a few weeks ago?

The good news is the kids will get to use their Michael Mann Global Warming Hockey Sticks on all those deeply frozen ponds and rivers in the UK.

As a Vermonter, I wouldn’t mind a little global warming. But I don’t think we’re going to get it.

I’m reminded of that picture from after last New Years with the pretty girl from England in the VERY short skirt, lying face-down in the frozen street, drunk off her patoot. It was in the Sun, IIRC.
It could be worse this year. They drink WAY too hard over there. We could see some cold-related deaths of drunks who passed out in the street.

The global warming nuts have an explaination for this one. It goes like this:
Ice caps are melting, injecting fresh water in to the Atlantic. The fresh water is shutting down the gulf stream, which is causing England to freeze.
That’s what they’ll tell you.

We just discovered a flaw in the AGW theories, and scientists were right in the 1970s:
The answer is to cut back on western technology, cut our energy usage, cut the size of our families, and expand UN powers. Otherwise, we're all going to freeze to death. Note: The poor, women, and minorities will be hardest hit by global cooling.

“Warm globally, cool locally.”
I keep hearing this as if it’s a mantra. It’s cold in China, the USA, the UK, Canada, tropical Mexico, Italy, there’s a chance of snow coming for Saudi Arabia, it’s freezing in India, but it’s record heat all over the globe...on average.
Sorry, but I’m calling BS.

So global warming causes global cooling. So if we stop the global warming it will get warmer?
