One thing about DADT repeal that I have not seen discussed is the fact that much of the military is black and hispanic now, and for the most part they do not like gays.

That's not a bug, that's a feature. Upwardly mobile, honorable racial minorities will now be a captive audience for reeducation.

This will mean less opposition to the gay agenda within the Democratic Party and also within the GOP. Only soldiers comfortable with the agenda will be advanced, there will be fewer socially conservative, higher-ranking military vets in the GOP talent pool.

Yup. He got the zot. And he’s now whining about it in email. Censorship! Even though we say up front that we don’t want it on our web site. Says he’s a good libertarian conservative and doesn’t believe it’s the government’s business who sleeps with whom. And he’s definitely right about that. It’s none of the government’s damn business. And they should stay the hell out of it and quit trying to shove it down our throats. Libertarians are idiots if they support this unwanted government intrusion (tyranny) into our free society.

And we definitely don’t want the government forcing our soldiers to sleep with homos!!

These are the traitors our fine military is fighting for and standing in harm's way for. Their thanks for all our military’s efforts and sacrifices over the last 9 years.

Anyone voting in favor of this should live in shame. Too embarrassed to show up outside their own pitiful houses. They are helping Obama’s attempt to finish off our military and it's morality and cohesiveness. Again, shearing shame and on all their consciences and a life full of it.

These same traitors will rubber stamp START to finish off our nation. Then, one day when they need our military the most, it won't be there.

FOOLS ALL! Sure hope Gaytes and Mullen are happy boys for promoting this pile with their lies..their names will forever be tied to this travesty along with the Obama's.

“..Both issues—women in combat and gays in the military—are different manifestations of a single problem: the failure of America’s political leadership to understand the factors that motivate men to fight in battle and to continue fighting under the most horrific conditions—what professionals call “combat effectiveness” and “unit cohesion” respectively. In all the discussions of the issue, these terms seldom come up; when they do, it is only to be dismissed out of hand by those who wish to see all military positions opened to both women and homosexuals.

Those who have never served in combat have no idea what it is like...”

this is so simple. to some extent gays have always been around. modern pc society is just more open & willing to discuss them.

yet Biblical Principle still stands, specifically, that if GOD can find so many righteous persons in this nation, HE will not destroy it. yes there will be trouble. let not your hearts be troubled neither let them be afraid. Yeshua has overcome the world.

"Who will rise up for Me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for Me against evildoers?" Psalm 94:16

Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. AND DO NOT FEAR THEIR INTIMIDATION, AND DO NOT BE TROUBLED, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame. 1 Peter ch 3

do not be afraid of what man can do to us. do not be afraid of the world system. the world needs to fear HIM who is able to destroy both body & soul in hell.

what is it that overcomes the world ?? faith in Christ. be an overcomer.

The American military almost exactly reflects the general population in make up.

Whites make up about 75% of the military. Hispanics about 13% and Blacks and Asians the rest. Blacks are the only under represented group.

Nevertheless, you point does hold as to White Evangelical Christians who make up 22% of the total. Twenty percent have said they would either certainly not reenlist or would consider leaving. That leaves a huge 5% hole that will not be easily filled because the Evangelical community will stop sending its young men and women to the Services.

That is exactly the aim of this administration. They want to force a draft.

“Wednesday, moderate Republican Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine announced her support for repealing “don’t ask, don’t tell,” but only after the Senate completes work on the tax and benefits package and a measure authorizing continued government spending this fiscal year.
Snowe became the fourth Republican to publicly support a repeal, giving Democrats an opening to overcome a certain Republican filibuster. Sensing momentum on the issue, President Barack Obama and Defense Secretary Robert Gates called Wednesday for Senate approval so that the repeal can be signed into law.”

How do you even separate the fags from the normal? The only logical way is to go coed with everything. No men’s room or women’s room. All one lockerroom.

Really that’s what we should push for to show the stupidity of the fag lobby.

If I had a gay surgeon and he could cut straight, a lesbian pilot who knew how a land a plane in a storm, or one bad ass chap wearing village people loving Indian who could operate a 50 caliber in the desert like a fire hose, why would I care whom they slept with? And further more, why should the it be any of the government’s business?

Why do we have men's rooms and women's rooms for dressing? Why doesn't the military put men and women in the same barracks?

"...Sensing momentum on the issue, President Barack Obama and Defense Secretary Robert Gates called Wednesday for Senate approval so that the repeal can be signed into law.”

Gaytes and Obama just can't WAIT to send our guys off to sodomite "sexual preference" re-education camp. Where evil is called good and good is called evil.

This is the final nail in the coffin. The Progressive agenda has the control and break down of our military on their list and they are damned the torpedoes at breaking our military's will and conviction. If they can't take our guys out with their dangerous ROE they will try to take them out another way.

Our nation can not and will not stand on perversion.

does anyone know the real senate prospects?

with reid pushing Christmas double overtime, Dream Act Amnesty and the DADT powder puff act seem in high chance of passing.

we need ACTUAL votes not just a philibuster from gutless republicans and rinos.

"What pisses me off the most is that Congress and DOD thinks it’s ok for gays to sleep and shower with straights. When in reality, they know it would cost billions to seperate."

Technically wouldn't this repeal dissolve all sexual separation and sexual orientation in the military? Men and Women troops would have to shower and bunk together, thus eliminating the need for costly separate facilities. Just like the soldiers in the movie Starship Troopers.

What a slippery soap...er..slope were on.

"Libertarians are Conservatives without common sense."

True Libertarians are anarchists, only without the courage of their convictions. FR "Libertarians" are just conservatives that want to legalize pot. And who apparently are down with all things gay.

A dollar says his kid came out of the closet a while back. That really breaks the moral compass in some people.

Anti gay attacks by minorities will not be looked upon by the media and by the law in the same manner as anti gay attacks by whites. This is going to get real ugly real fast.

Then all of a sudden, off in the background, I heard a horse neighing when I read that!
