China Hopes to Play Trade Card in India

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will be on a trade-focused charm offensive when he touches down in New Delhi Wednesday for a two-day visit.

The past year has seen a worsening in relations, with clashes over shared Himalayan borders and China’s close relationship with Pakistan. Defense ties were suspended this summer after China refused a visa to a top Indian general.

Beijing is seeking instead to turn the spotlight during Mr. Wen’s trip, his first here in five years, on the burgeoning trade relationship between India and China.

Some 400 business leaders will accompany the premier, twice the initial expected number, making this one of the largest Chinese commercial delegations ever to visit India.

Looks like more jobs are going to be shipped out of America.

Probably worse than Communist China and India not getting along....is Communist China and India, getting along

China has over a billion people it needs to feed and resettle elsewhere.

ha — the indians strongly distrust the Chinese. the only thing tht can happen here is more gaffes by the Chicom premier

yes, the Chinese government isn’t run my filthy minorities threatening riots all the time and demanding more welfare payouts like we have ot suffer wiht here in the US. Plus the Chinese are not self destructive and they don’t hate business.
