While they are sunning themselves with global warming in Cancun, the local area has seen record-breaking cold. Cancun set a 100-year record low temperature date of 54 F. while negotiators from over 200 countries obsessed with global warming. Miami broke a record that had remained unchallenged since 1897. Temperatures dropped to 63 degrees, two degrees lower than 113 years ago. Fort Lauderdale, Florida breaks 169-year cold record: Fort Lauderdale broke a low temperature record of 42 degrees for Dec. 7 that had been in place for 169 years, said Dan Gregoria, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Miami.

Good question JH.. I live on the NC side of the TN/ NC border. So just a guess on my part. It was 13 here today, feels like 10 below. If I had a home in SoCal, I would have left with the Florida Snow Birds in October. I lived in AK, so 10 below is cold, but tolerable if you can stay inside most of the time. Of course, to appear properly pious, he could show up in TN if he could stand the un- washed and near frozen masses. Unfortunately, I think most would be kinda cranky toward this whole move to increase oil prices, especially since the TN mtn. area uses oil to heat with.

Look at the Little Ice Age. Cooling means crop failures and hunger. Warming means that places like Canada and Siberia become decent farming areas, reducing world hunger.
Hard freeze in Central Florida last night, again tonight. And it is only December. Which will cost more, a gallon of gasoline or a gallon of orange juice?

I believe G-d Almighty is setting us straight on just who is in charge over the last couple of days...He continues to give followers of the global warming cult a good swift kick in the pants.
It was cold Orlando in 2009 Thanksgiving too. I am not sure where Gore’s SoCal home is, but San Diego is shivering with lows of 53 lol. We live on the wrong side of the world. I think a large contingent of conservatives should take over SoCal, it is the prettiest, most climate friendly place. The pacific ocean... ahhh.
