297 games, a record that will stand for a very long time. Congratulations to Brett Favre on an unbeatable record and a nice career.
I wonder if he’ll play anymore this season?
Seems like the kind of hit he took should be illegal.
I was eight the last time Favre didn’t start a NFL game.
So now that Favre is not playing NFL football anymore, look for another big storm to hit.
We shall see. Peyton Manning’s only 5 years behind him, and chasing all of his records:
Passing yards, attempts, touchdowns, completions, interceptions, and consecutive starts.
Right now its:
Ints Favre: 335
Ints Manning: 196
About 9 seasons.
TDs Favre: 507
TDs Manning: 392 (Marino at 420)
About 3 and a half seasons.
YDs Favre: 71775
YDs Manning: 54156 (Marino at 61k)
About 4 seasons.
Atts Favre: 10162
Atts Manning: 7100 (Marino at 8.2k)
About 5 and a half seasons at 550 attempts.
Cmps Favre: 6295
Cmps Manning: 4610 (Marino at 5k)
About 4 and a half seasons.
Direct TV said if you have the NFL ticket, you will be able to see the game tonight. I would guess it may just be in the MN market otherwise.
Favre has been a great GREAT quarterback for a long time, and those of us who have loved the game and watching him will miss his everlasting love of the game. It is a joy to watch Brett play the game the best way he can and see the plays come around the way he put the ball out there. We shall miss you!!
BTTT
His last pass was picked off. That may have been his very last pass. If that is so, wouldn’t that make it that his last pass everywhere he played was puked off?
Puked = picked. Epic ooooops.
They said when he holds the ball, he can't feel it. He may have life time damage to those nerves.
If your not watching the game, you aren't missing a thing (unless your a Giants fan). The Vikings Suck!!! I am saying this as a lifetime Viking fan.
The only thing that makes this game bearable is that it makes it a little bit harder for the Packers to see the post season (I hate the Packers more than I love the Vikings).
I saw that. It didn’t look good. you wonder how much of his arm looks like his hand. However, it does match the color of the Viking jersey.
Brett should never have come back. An injury like this could be a life-altering deal. Not in a dreadful way but in the way he did things prior to the injury. He may have a painful life after the injury. He may have some semi-permanant numbness in his arm and hand. I have never seen anything like that.
He should be place on injured reserve so that the possibility of him going back onto the field and risk further injury is removed. He has done his bit. After 24+ years of high school, college, and pro ball, he’s earned that rest. He should be old enough to finaly realize that if he gets hit one more time, that hit could be more costly than his last one. The last one was a warning. He should heed that warning. Pass the baton to the new guy and do so gracefully.
I saw that ,too.
Maybe he just voted in Iraq.
